Se han anunciado las nominaciones para los BAFTA Games Awards 2024. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 lidera el grupo con nominaciones en nueve categorías diferentes.
Otros grandes destacados son Alan Wake 2 (con nominaciones en ocho categorías), Baldur’s Gate 3 (ocho) y The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (siete).
Los cuatro juegos están nominados para el premio al Mejor Juego, junto con Dave the Diver y Super Mario Bros Wonder.
Los vigésimos BAFTA Games Awards se llevarán a cabo en el Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, Londres, el jueves 11 de abril y se transmitirán en vivo a las 19:00 BST / 14:00 ET / 11:00 PT en los canales de YouTube, Twitch y X de BAFTA.
Este año, en un cambio con respecto a su proceso habitual, la organización benéfica de artes del Reino Unido publicó previamente la lista de los 60 juegos que conformaban su lista larga de nominados.
Los juegos elegibles para los premios de este año fueron lanzados entre el 10 de diciembre de 2022 y el 24 de noviembre de 2023.
Los miembros de BAFTA comenzaron a votar para decidir las nominaciones finales en las categorías de Mejor Juego y Juego Británico en enero, mientras que los jurados de BAFTA votaron en las otras 15 categorías.
Ahora está abierta la votación para el premio EE Players’ Choice Award, el único premio votado por el público.
