Los nominados a los Game Developers Choice Awards han sido anunciados. Esta premiación otorga reconocimiento a lo mejor del año sin importar la plataforma a la que pertenezca.
En esta oportunidad, The Witcher: Wild Hunt y Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain son los títulos con más nominaciones. Asimismo, destacan juegos como Fallout 4, Bloodborne, Rocket League, Undertale, Splatoon y Super Mario Maker.

Los ganadores serán elegidos por una organización formada por desarrolladores de juegos de todas las secciones de la industria. La entrega de premios se llevará a cabo el 16 de marzo en el Moscone Center de San Francisco, California en un evento dirigido por Robin Hunicke, cofundador de Funomena.
